The creation of a four-legged horse was one of the main tasks of this project. A lot of walking mechanisms were developed by many engineers earlier. But the stability of the movable structure was realized through additional limbs or other additional supports. The wizards of Ugears have found a smarter way to achieve stability in motion. Now you see the completely unique mechanism of the model. It turns your horse into a real quadruped. And it is a brand new innovation developed by Ugears. And now you can test it.

The designers paid special attention to the anatomy of the animal’s legs. It was needed to make sure that all the joints and movements closely resemble those of a real horse. The bionic heart of your horse is a pendulum installed in the chest of the mech. The mane and tail of the horse are meant to flow in the wind. And they are made of flexible rubber bands.
Don`t worry, the Bionic Horse won’t carry you over the horizon – the distance it can cover in one winding is quite limited. But, it is enough to observe the work of the unique mechanism and enjoy the beauty of the mechanics of the model.
